Have updated in other thread, it is looking as though he has fractured it but there is still a glimmer of hope that it could be just a severe blow to it that has caused soft tissue damage. Vets don't want to risk moving him so he is splinted up waiting for the x-ray machine to be brought to him on Monday.
Fingers crossed. Will admit to getting very upset this afternoon... can't seem to stop the tears
Why is it that no matter how hard we try and stay positive the worst case scenario plays over and over in our minds?
He seemed happy enough this evening, nice and chilled after just the minimum dose of sedalin. Ate all of his tea and was tucking into his haynet as I left.
