Anyone done this class with their natives ? Especially Section A's .

Hoping to do a class at the end of april with tommy .

Any information , on how the class is performed , height of fences, tack and turnout, what judges look out for etc , would be much appreciated .

Have looked up several websites ( puk ) so looking everyone elses experiences .

I uesd to do it, with a section A, and mainly shetties.

Its just like a normal working hunter class, the jumps are usually 2foot3, for section A's. You need a clear round, cantering on more foward than SJ, but with the jockey clearly in control. They dont like the ponies having incorrect bend when jumping, as that seemsto happen alot. Manners are very important too.

When ponies, often when they are going fast look to the outside of the corners. I think it is usually the jockeys making them do it to try and keep in control.

Isnt that just proper schooling lol ?
