sorry if this has been asked before but has anyone machine washed a fly mask and did it survive?

Mine is disgusting, I tried to hand wash it but it didn't work and still stinks and is filthy. it's the only one that fits her head so don't want it to get ruined in there!

I aways put mine in the washing machine and its been good as new, my horse has to wear them all year round so they are in and out alot . Mine are cashel .

I don't put anything horsey in the machine apart from rugs at local laundrette. I usually let mine soak in a bucket of boiling water and washing liquid over night, this seems to get every last bit of dirt out,I always love seeing my things go back to the colour they should be the next morning :D ) I then rince and hang up to dry.

My things seem to last longer this way than putting them in the machine, this goes for brushes, boots, leadropes etc. :)

Mine survive the machine :) I give them a wash in a bucket first to get rid of most of the dirt, then stick them in a pillowcase and wash on delicates. Mine are Equilibrium ones.

Do they not usually stand up to the washing machine very well then? I chucked two into the washing machine this morning (along with a couple of other bits) before I left for work and not sure now what sort of condition they will be in when I get home
