Mac did his first ever dressage test last night. He did walk and trot, my sharer rode him and I called. We only entered for a bit of fun as he has arthritis and ringbone, so not the best mover in the world. He scored 52.2% and lost most of his marks for lack of impulsion, but as he can be a lazy devil, this can definitely be improved upon. (sharer was really nervous too, so she let him get away with it)!
In the judges comments she said Mac was “A happy horse with a nice attitude”.
Pointless post, but I am so chuffed with him.

I am pleased as punch. We have odd days when he struggles and I begin to wonder when to retire him, but then we have days like yesterday when he has such fun!

Well done Mr Mac. W&T at HPF shortly if you are interested.

Andy will be disappointed to hear he is being good - he loves the naughty Mac stories.

Give him a kiss for me - has he started smelling of cat pee yet?

I may be if I get Stinky back next Saturday or I might be getting him back on Sunday - just got to get things finalised. If he is back Saturday then Woodredon would be a good show to try out his (hopefully) new learnt skills.
