mad pony

we have a 12.2hh pony at are stables. He's 28yrs old and doin lots of strange things like attacking his feed bucket and acting a bit mad. can horses get demencia. does any one no?

not sure but when i was a child a friend of mine had an old mare she started doing strange things and died about a year later they had a post mortum and she had a brain tumor.

yep, and yep that sort of behaviour can also be from tumours. they can go very senile an dat that point they need to be retired!!
