Agreed, there are other boards on the 'net where the Flamers would have been banned, or at least suspended, for their behaviour. It takes two to fight and there are several people who seem to be determined to put the boot in.
 
regardless of what has gone on on her i think your horse looks healthy has plenty of hay and water has a lovely bed and looks well looked after and thats the main thing
p.s have you found a riding club yet?????

Perhaps the 'personal issues' he referred to in a previous post refer to Bi Polarism. Because this certainly is not the same 'character' that originally started posting a few weeks ago.

Very sad. And I hope he's getting the support and treatment he needs.

c) there is no way in the world the police would do anything about the fact you are getting nasty PM's on an internet forum!


D) AND THIS IS A BIG ONE-------- No i am not sticking up for Jordan, his comments have been down right nasty (although he has taken a fair amount of flack back), but you know how to stop them--- dont post on his threads and put him on user ignore... simples!
 
Ihotse, from what I have read in JR's threads you seem to have enjoyed fanning the flames and provoked a reaction.

If you don't know him in real life you surely can't gauge the tone of his posts? It's so very easy to misjudge someone from what they put on a forum. He could be having a bad day and over emotional or just over indulged

I think a period away from here would do him some good. He started off being a bit naive but very caring but the language he used yesterday re sexual slang is the first time i've seen that on the forum.

I think there must be some demons he is battling to degenerate so quickly and I think as lexie says just UI him. There is no point having a slanging match with someone who doesn't appear to be very mentally stable at the moment.

The easiest thing to do is not to respond to him at all. IMHO most of it is attention seeking anyway. If he really wanted advice then he would at least take some of that given on here recently, however he ignores all of it and uses any opinion differing from his own as an excuse to hurl insults at other forum members. Leave him to it. Unfortunately you don't have to take a competancy exam to own a horse so hopefully one day he will eventually wake up and realise how blinkered he is being in refusing to help himself.

PS...AMymay, how is your friend's horse doing now?
 
I have deleted my above post. Admin have had a read, and he has been banned form the forum. Actually, his language was a lot worse after I had gone to be last night, his repeated use of a vulger word was duly reported this morning. I do not wish for my 13yr old neice to read it. I imformed Jordan that I had reported him, in the thread, not by PM.
This is the last time I will write anything on any of these threads. I'm quite frankly appalled by the gross language and do not want to get involved with anything so disgusting again. This forum is about horses, not female reproductive parts and their alternative names.
 
I read some of his stuff on you tube & tbh I think he just likes to rub people up the wrong way. Plus it wouldnt surprise if the horse is his partner horse!

I agree Amymay, I did think he had asbergers or something, he certainly is not quite normal (whatever normal is lol), his complete personality transplant (or so it seemed) last night was quite shocking.

Maybe THEY are the people who should get a life, and stop being drama queens?? The same few people who posted on each one of his posts making similar comments KNOWING the reaction it would bring. Why say it if you know what will happen?? Unless you enjoy upsetting others? It's all stuff that's been said to me in the past so why not take all your own words on board?

The mare is well cared for, obviously VERY loved, and to me thats what matters.

This forum is fast becoming an uncomfortable place to be... spoilt by the few who think they know it all, that none is as superior as them and whom then act all shocked when someone swears at them. Do you behave the same at your livery yards??

I actually think the horse looks very well cared for too. But I also think the horse belongs to someone else in the household, mother or sister maybe. He stated that the vet was coming out to poultice again, but where is the poultice in his latest video?? The horse is fine, and someone is just using her as an excuse to come on here and cause trouble. Sounds like he likes to cause trouble on Youtube as well, judging by his feedback.

For the record, JR got abusive well before anyone else did, again if you had bothered to read the posts properly you would know this. There was absolutely no excuse for him speaking to bugaboo etc in the way he did so get off your high horse.

I could say that calling HHOers 'slags' and 'c***s' was bringing OUR sexual behaviour in to the discussion WAY before anyone mentioned Jordan's sexual orientation. Oh please. Stop with the violins. He can get help/advice any time he wants it from a vet (the one that came out to treat Daphi for instance) a farrier, tack shops, etc, etc, etc. And of course books.

well, I must say that even now he is excluded from this forum he is still causing trouble.

I had the misfortune of reading all those pages of the trouble some post and I was offended by it, so much so that I also requested that something be done... normally I just ignore but this was beyond a joke, just like this internal bickering is.

I must say if he was a troll he has done a damn good job at setting people at one anothers throats.

Thank goodness he has gone. The guy was out of order with his language on here. I had already asked him to temper it as there are kids use this forum. I wasn't around when it obviously went evcen further downhill.
I really hope that he sells that poor horse, this is the guy who asked if she was limping does it mean she was lame, asked if he should put a band aid on it, has no idea how to tack up, no wonder the poor creature got grumpy. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
I don't think people were bitchy or nasty really, (not while I was still on) i think they were just getting so frustrated with his attitude and refusal to do the sensible thing by going to a yard. One minute he says it was because it seemed like a waste of money as he has his own land etc. Then he said it was for personal reasons, make up your mind. Total drama queen in my opinion.
He is not thinking of whats best for the horse, far from it, he is a spoilt brat who wanted a pony to play with, went and got one regardless of the consequences for the horse.

As for the horse looking well cared for, well he has only had her a few weeks. Of course she does. He had also posted earlier that he was findijng it hard work and was thinking of selling her. I didn't post but i just thouight, wait til winter, then you will know how hard it really is. He is struggling in summer when we are all thrilled at having a relatively easy life for a few months.

I am sure he will find another forum to go and wind up now. He was all nicey nicey on here until he got the answers he was looking for and then he turned nasty. He will do the same wherever he goes.

I really hope this works out well for Daphi and she ends up in a home with someone who has the knowledge to look after her properly.
