After my last thread about feeling guilty about selling my horse I have come to the heartbreaking decision to sell him.
I went out with a friend on a hack on one of her ponies and had such fun cantering and galloping around the countryside, which I just can't do with mine. I really had such a wonderful day and really had to admit that was what I wanted to be able to do.
I would want to get a pony, which is suitable for me to hack but also just as good for my kids to lead rein on. I have seen a couple of older ponies for sale, but how old is too old? The ones I have seen are around 15-18 years old.
Thanks
