I feel your pain, ClipClopTenaLadyPop!
Can recommend men's 'slips' to keep your Tena Lady's in place.
Yup, 3 kids bad news for the pelvics...

Oops, did I really just share that?

Its tommorrow! I am really excited, but so scared at the same time.I really want it to work out but already have my worries. He is not sure about cows, we are on a dairy farm with 142 cows!Just feel if it doesnt work out, so many people will be dissapointed! Mostly me!!! Someone tell me I am worrying about nothing and to stop being silly! Please!!!!

They get used to cows. My little mare was all unnecessary when they first arrived but settled to them and she is NOT the phlegmatic sort that Winston is!

I had one horse who did not like cows (she was a coloured lol) and we are on a dairy farm, she was over it in days.

My other horse was petrified of Pigs, she could smell the pig farm from miles away and would snort and run backwards - so we put one in a run outside her stable and she was soon fine with pigs.

I haven't followed your story but I'm guessing it has been a long and difficult one, Winston may not be for you who knows, but you just need to relax until then because worrying yourself into a state won't help and when you have finished with him (can I have him ;-0 lol).

Good luck everything crossed for you xx

Started to feel the same with my lovely boy, but I could never sell him and he is an oldie now anyway. I loan him out to friend who is lacking in confidence and she loves him to bits as he is so safe. I ve just bought myself a 16.2 4 year old!
I think if your boy is young enough to sell on then you are definitely doing the right thing.
Nothing worse for your horse than feeling bored and frustrated with him.

All mine settled with the cows we had 120 in our herd with 30 odd in the milking parlour right next to the stables twice a day. We had to walk them closely past the cows reared for meat in the farm building to get into the american barn with stables.

At that time I had 8 horses and ponies here in my riding school, all were fine bar one and he was strange anyway but he never did anything silly.

Im sure the cow issue can be sorted! just need to learn they are not scary creatures that eat horses and what could be better than living on a dairy farm to teach them!

wooooooo exciting - Benson21 dont not start finding silly things wrong or we shall all be cross! he he x
