does anyone have any recommendations?

my cob needs full sized head/cheek pieces but xfull browband and noseband and i cant seem to figure out different bridle part combinations as the head part of the noseband piece needs to be full but the straps don't go around his muzzle on most full sized nosebands as they all seem to have cranks! so thinking made to measure may be way to go!

also i want a hunter style bridle but with detachable flash so i can do fast hacks with the flash/schooling but for shows/hacking i can take it off?

Jeffries do lovely hunter bridles and they sell all parts separately so you could put your own bridle together. I just bought a Jeffries bridle for my pony and it is lovely quality - so soft!!

yes have had my eye on jeffries bridle! looks lovely! except im not sure if i get a xfull noseband it will be too big around the head as its only the bit that goes around the nose that he needs in xfull rather than the bit that goes around the head? if that makes sense!

Ive bought a made to measure bridle from heritage saddlery (they have a website), its a really lovely piece and fits well but was costly!

My friend will make you one to fit your horse exactly, pm if you want her details and website, she makes her own for showing and they are super nice, you can have whatever you want. She has made league work for a few celebs :-)

I had Rocco's specially made by a young saddler in North Beds as he has a wide forehead and it was beautifully made and fits him perfect and it didn't cost me much more than a Jeffiers, which I had bought him in the first place, yes you can mix and match, but not the same that is specially made for the horse. I liked the way she came and measured him and then remeasured to make sure.:D

Years since I bought a custom made one (13). That was a hackamore, made by Plas Equestrian and it's the most beautiful and well-fitting bridle I've ever owned. When my 'hackamore horse' died I cannibalised parts of it for my current horse.
