Hi I'd like to get a really nice tweed jacket for showing in, I already have 2 but they look awful on as I have a really long back and broad shoulders so have to get a big size but have a small bust and waist so they don't look very flattering also I struggle getting them long enough in the sleeves.
Does anyone know if there is anywhere preferably with a website that does made to measure jackets where I can just send them my measurements? Or alternatively anywhere in Glasgow as I will be going down for my christmas shopping in a couple of weeks. Preferably not too expensive, wouldn't like to pay over £200.
Thanks in advance.

forgot to mention- I too have a really long back and small waist- but big riders shoulders. The jacket was made to measure and makes me feela million dollars!

Can you not find a good dressmaker/tailor type person who can alter one of the ones you have to fit you better? I am broad shouldered, broad back, reasonably large bust and then smaller waist and hips so have the same problem in that all jackets are way to big at the bottom if they fit me on the top. Just a thought...

I got mine done at Windsor for £190 plus postage. It was changing the length of the arms and the waist.
If you are a maids fit, then Mrs Candy or any of the other pony places are perfect. I look silly in a maids fit even though I can get it on, so went for the ladies version. Designer Browbands do several versions of maids and ladies so the OP may be able to get something off the peg.
