Mae Had Her Foal!!!

Mae had a big healthy filly last night at 11.20, foal was up in minutes and drinking away. Was cantering about this morning with Mae trying to keep up lol.

Got birth and first steps on video, she had her in 10 minutes!!! Its her first foal and shes taken to motherhood very well. Romi is very sweet, loves attention, and shes very active!

Instead of her following her mum, she has to follow the foal!!

She is, she was up all night with the foal who is very very active. Already she likes to go exploring and would go away from mae, she then panicks and goes running after her.

I put them in a stable to let mae have a wee rest, when she was born, the pet lambs and goats all came for a nosey.

So proud of her, she had no problems whatsoever, even though it was a big foal.

The sire is an irish horse called Big Jack.
