Your local feed merchant should stock it. Its given to cattle and you can buy a 25kg sack for about £6!

thanks spaniel - how much do i feed (do you know?) Also if you see my other post today, you were right yesterday i will be leaving her on 1 bute a day - thanks x

Mag Ox isn't generally available from feed merchants - Calmag is but has a lower proportion of magnesium. Someone on ebay is selling Mag Ox or email Metabolic Horse 2006@MetabolicHorse.Co.UK and they will send you a price list.
I feed mine in a daily small carrier feed, damped if necessary - started with a couple of teaspoonfuls (he is 16.2hh warmblood) and assessed the effect from there. You will find if you overfeed they get runny droppings, but I think with most horses that would take huge quantities.

Sorry, forgot to add - I am told the yellow licks have a high proportion of magnesium in them so horses can self medicate if they need it.
