I have come across magic brushes & was wondering whether anyone had used them at all and if they were any good? In particular are they any good at brushing off super thick mud!!? I noticed they only seem to sell them in packs of 3, are they different for different body areas??

I bought them yesterday. The 3 brushes are all the same so I sold one to a friend after she tried it out on her muddy horse. They are pretty effective at getting of thickly caked mud. If you look at the recent thread I started you will see that there is a before an after picture and it was mostly the magic brushes that got the mud off. They are about 3 or 4 times as effective as a plastic curry comb and somehow not as scratchy despite feeling like a little bed of nails.

They are brilliant. I keep giving them away to instructors/friends and everyone then goes out and buys more! Even my sensitive skinned TB loves it, and you can use them on clipped horses as well

What are these? Are they anything like those hard plastic brushes you twist that come with the solo comb kit? Cos I've never worked out why I'd bother using that, but now I'm curious!
