Hey all,
My mare gets separation anxiety especially when travelling alone. I am going to travel her tomorrow around 7am and thought I would give the NAF magic calmer a try. She is 16.1 ISH 535kg. How much shall I give and when?
Does anyone have any experience of using it? X

Magic did nothing for my mare either way.

Try calming cookies. They seemed to work with mine. You can give one the night before, and then top up in the morning. They don't work for everyone though. Valerian seems to the only thing that works fairly reliably, but it's banned for competing.

Worked for my horse with his anxiety in the warm-up arena. I gave him the full tube an hour before we were going to start warming up. He was much more chilled despite a very hectic arena, seemed more focused.
I had previously tried claming cookies but he wouldn't touch them and also wouldn't eat any feed with the powder in.
Edited to add - mine is 16.1hh and 590kg.
