Attempt no 1 at moving my horse tonight to new yard. He is a BAD loader! Any pressure and up go the front legs so it all has to be taken very calmly. I am not even sure he will go in the lorry but will give it a go - if not, vet tomorrow and sedation it is!
Have bought some magic instant calmer on several peoples reccomendations, which maybe will relax him a little - although once in he is happy as larry!
He is difficult to worm with a syringe so expecting it to be hard to get this in too.
I presume it will be fine to pop in a small feed? Or is it likely to taste disgusting?!
Good luck vibes too please...:D

I ahve the same issue as you, difficult to worm with a syringe so thought I wuld put it in a small feed so that we weren't starting by getting him stressed....he loves his feed but knew it was in there and wouldn't touch it so I would reccomend using the syringe not the feed

Like bedbug suggested he might not eat his feed, I know that mine can detect anything in her feed. I think it maybe better if you try to syringe.

Cut a large carrot into smaller pieces and take out the core gently and put some of the calmer in the core and put a little carrot back to seal, so he cann't smell it and try some in his feed. Worked on one of mine.
