Hi
My big girl has just gone and done a whole load of damage to her near fore tendon. I cannot box rest her as she hates being stabled, this is just not an option, i will now have to paddock rest her for the next 6 months at least... i was just wondering if any of you have used magnetic boots to help...

If so, what brand would you consider the best...

Also
Have any of you had a horse with a bad tendon that they couldnt stable? do they make the same recovery? I know some people dont believe in box rest, i've never had to face this before....

i use magnet boots and magnet rugs, and i swear by them.
my mare used to get a little unlevel after competing and they really really helped

i use veredus magnet boots and the rug is amarillo (i think thats what its called)

I've used Bioflow boots on my old highland who had arthritis and he went sound and comfortable with them. He was able to be ridden (light hacking) which I put down to the magnetic boots and homeopathy.

I've never used magnets on my horse but I've got a magnetic collar on my dog, He has arthritis in his shoulder & he appears to be moving bettrer now with the magnetic collar.

I have no idea how they work & I was sceptical about but thought I'd try it out....glad I did, the hound is doing better now. Give it a go....nothing ventured etc
