magnesium as a calmer??

I've known quite a few horses that have been on this calmer with good results.

would maybe put exuberance down to weather if he's not normally like he was today. (as his owner you'll know what's norm) Always gets up the safest horses tail and puts a spring in their step.

My horse has been on NAF's Magic Calmer for 18 months and I've found it fantasic. He is very tense and whizzy and it has really helped him to relax and accept the leg.

Is your horse always like this or just over the last week or so? The weather has been very bad and I agree with the last poster that it could be that if he is usually OK.

A magnesium based calmer is used as it is beleived that horses who are 'fizzy' may possibly have a magnesium imbalance within their body.
I know some people who have used many different calmers with no effect where as others can use one which someone else swears by and still have no effect...I think you will have to do atrial and error just like everyone else and see what works for your horse.

Yes jdonald...I know a few people who have used the nupafeed one and swear by it!! Although its not exactly cheap if I remember correctly...but then nothing to do with horses ever is!!
