Magnesium - some idiot questions!

I bought some Mag Ox from progressive earth and my horse won't eat his feed with it in.

I guess I shall be going back to the Magnitude, as he ate that just fine. Picky boy!

Magnitude is Mag Ox (it is exactly the same thing)??? just 4 times the price! no reason why a horse should eat one and not the other.

puppy I had to introduce Franks minerals v v slowly, starting with the mag and moving up from there, literally just a sprinkle. I also think he wasn't that taken with fast fibre (and is even less enamoured with speedi-beet but tough . He now gets 35 mg a day happily (+others). Other mare has eaten anything.

Oh and he won't touch yeast even at the sprinkle stage and with cider vinegar/mint etc. He was convinced slowly on yea-sacc though
