Has anyone had any experience with these?? Do you see a difference with them? Have a horse that had a minor injury to suspensory and coming back into work.. anyone used any "therapy" boots etc for legs.

Also, any particular brand/type you would recommend?

Yes, I used magnet boots for a very lame arthritic mare whose next step was pts as she was on the maximum bute dosage. We put them on overnight in the stable, then turned her out in them for the next 12 hours. She trotted in for her tea, I couldn't believe the difference. We then used them 12 hrs on 12 hrs off, on alternate diagonal legs. She used to hold the feet out for me to put them on, she could obviously feel the benefit of them. Unfortunately she died of a stroke about 3 months later.
I have used them on ohter horses with mixed results, none as dramatic as hers.

I've got the equilibrium ones, I bought them in the largest size but they're still too small for both my horses. However I did manage to keep them on the smaller of my girls albeit half open! I made sure the magnets were lying over the problem area. I dont know if they helped or not but she did make a quick recovery. A lot of people say magnetic boots are a waste of money and even my vet was doubtful but added they wouldn't do any harm to give them a try.

I use these on my mare who has windgalls on both hind fetlocks. I have seen a difference in her and she does not seem as stiff as she was however she is also on no bute liquid, codlivine and glucosamine so it could be the boots or the supplements. No harm in trying, i must say though if i leave them off for the night she does appear stiffer in the morning.
I have the Equilibrum ones, retail at £65 for the pair.
