Just wondering, to the people that use them, what do you use them for and do you think they help?

Do you think they would be any good for a horse that hurt it's suspensory ligament previously to try and stop it reoccuring?

Don't know - my vet sold me a pair for a lame horse and I couldn't honestly see the difference (except to the vet practice bank balance).

Having said that, my neighbour has a magnetic rug for her artheritic horse and swears by them. And human friends say they make a huge difference.

So if you can afford them, why not. However, a thought, some people say that animals drink more when you start to use then, so it may be interesting to monitor that?

I bought a pair of Bioflow brushing boots last Badminton in the vague hope that they might help my horse's torn tendon to heal. I can't tell if they did the job, but what they do do is keep my horse's legs from swelling when she's stabled. For that reason alone they are invaluable to me! They also helped keep the swelling down when she went VERY lame last summer - she was out in the field, crippled for no apparent reason, and her legs were like tree trunks. Bute kept her comfortable and my Bioflow boots stopped the swelling.
If they help with arthritis and other things, great, but it doesn't matter to me as long as my horse's legs look like horse legs!

They are good for arthiritis, my ex racer has slight arthiritis in left fore knee when she wears them she feels a lot more fluid in her movement. Also they help with bloodflow although im not quite sure how

I use them on my horse for his bone spavin, previously torn DDFT and side bone. They also help keep the swelling down in his legs when stabled. I find my horse is less stiff too.

I have a horse which has damage to his suspensory ligament (he is a show jumper and has quite long pasterns) the his suspensory ligaments swell if he jumps on hard ground. I brought a pair of bioflow tendon wraps. I like these as they have air holes which allow for airflow, I find if you leave neoprene boots on their legs tend to over heat. I have the wraps on whenever he is in his stable. I have been so impresed, his legs don't swell at all any more. I would reccomend them to anyone. Plus bioflow will give you 80% of your money back if your not happy with them.
