Sorry - that was a general statement, not necessarily related to the magnets. Now have sucessfully put images into my head of you communicating with your horse telopathically

It is possible though that you are, I don't know, riding with more confidnce or something say? I don't know, beginning to wish I hadn't said anything now as Im on my 3rd glass of wine, second bowl of rubard crumble and custard and I know that I have to get up and work tomorrow

Not sure whether I believe the magnet debate, but think it worth a personal experiment. Think the magnetic boots/browbands/bracelets are a rip off though.

Chap at Hickstead was doing the big hard sell at a stall we were looking at, about the magnetic wrist bands he was selling for £25 (a bit of old webbing containing 1 magnet) being that price because the magnet was super strength and could attract metallic items through the width of his finger....great!

Did a bit of research and bought 20 similar magnets off the internet from a supplier for 20p each and will be making my own webbing wrist bands at a cost of ...... 50p each!!! Oh, and the magnets are very strong and attract metallic items through the width of my finger...???
 
It would appear that some people should calm down and allow others to form opinions of their own, if magnets appear to work for some then that can only be a good thing for those that benefit, I believe that magnets are a very useful item when used after surgery as they do increase the blood flow and thus help with healing.
Maybe some forum members should plonk one on their head and see if they mellow about this subject!!
 
Well I bought a wrist bangle from one of the 'accredited' companies for my sore (previously sprained) wrist. It made no difference at all other than it making me look like I had very bad taste in jewelery!!

It left me very unimpressed. If there was any true scientific evidence, I'm certain these companies wouldn't hesitate to cite it in their literature!
 
I have read the posts with interest, it is a Magnetic Headpiece & retailed at £73 if memory serves me well. I dont know why the magnetics are being dissed in this way, I have found they worked wonders on my back. I opted for the bridle & when if finally arrives I have said I will report back. It is being used on a stressy mare who naps for England. Good luck Colt if it works it will have been money well spent.
 
Thanks magic, we have used it for 2 days now and he is very relaxed there are builders putting up new stables in the barn opposite him and they were using welding equipment with sparks flying yesterday afternoon and he was perfectly calm with his headpiece on. The reason we went for the headpiece is you can put in on with a headcollar for an hour before your ride so that they chill in the stable and also when travelling and then transfer it to the bridle and ride in it. So lets swap notes. Good luck.
Yes as you say IF it works it will be money well spent!!
