Anyone got any experience with magnetic horsewear to promote circulation/healing . . . either alongside other therapies or on their own.

Thanks in advance.

We have small magnetic pads that we fit inside a rug, I nearly always have one tucked down the back of my jeans to control my back pain - brilliant! Whilst the pad is in place I can honestly say I have no pain at all, when I wake up it is back again but, in defence I have to say that I have to carry on as normal rather than rest. I would think if you have a horse that is resting an injury then long term it would help to improve it, at worst it would certainly help with pain. I don't have to use any medicinal pain relief if I use the magnetic pad. The effect of the rug with pads is a very chilled horse but we have never had to use them for injury on a horse. I hope that helps!

I have magnetic tendon boots for my mare who suffers from tendonitis and I swear by them!!! I have no doubt they have aided her recovery. I have also lent them to another owner who proceeded to buy a pair as again they helped her pony.

I have magnetic boots on my horse either all day in the stable in the summer, or all night in the stable in the winter. I use the Bioflow boots. They are a Godsend and I can really tell when he's not had them on, especially on his hind legs as his wingalls are ridicoulsy big without them on. They really do dissipate the fluid that collects, and they create warmth, and also the very fact that they are on anyway as a 'pressure boot' prevents the swelling. They are brilliant.
