Magnetic rugs- any experiences?

I have been considering getting a magnetic rug for the older horse I have, he is a dressage schoolmaster and is great fun to learn from but has had a hip injury in the past which causes him to be stiff to start with when he comes out of the stable.
I have magnetic boots on the front legs and they havd def helped him but I feel that the rug would be better as its directly over the problem site.
Does anyone have any experiences with them and are they of benefit?
Also where might I get one 2nd hand?

I use an Armadillo neck cover on my old horse. It is really useful as a warm -up and warm-down cover in his stable, particularly in winter. Think it is a v good idea - maybe ebay?

Depends what size and how much you want to pay. A friend of mine has one for sale, only used a couple of times but it cost about £400 new, I know she wants less than half that for it though.

Look on ebay for equimagnets. They are sold in packs of 10 and are oval shaped each containing 9/10 magnets, you stitch the velcro into any rug of your choice in any position you want. I have used these quite successfully, definitely one of mine feels softer over the back when he has travelled in his magnetic rug.
