As the title really. My mare holds alot of tension through her back and I'm debating investing in one to help keep her muscles loose before and after riding, but its alot of money if it doesnt really help.

So what are your experiences?

can't help on the rugs but invested in the equilibrium magnetic back pad which i find great for one of our mares

the long magnets can be positioned to where they are needed

Ive had one a few years but never used it regularly, for the last wee while ive used it every day before i ride and sometimes after, travel to comps in it etc. My mare seems to warm up better and my physio came to give her a massage last week for the first time in ages and said my girl has never felt so good so i think they do make a difference. I also used to use it on my mare who is cold backed and she always started off a session better when she had worn it before riding

My horse wears his every night. I can't really comment on its effects as not really riding him properly at the minute, but it does make him v warm, so must be bringing blood to the surface and keep his muscles warmer and relaxed. I also use an equilibrium massage pad on him before I ride, which he really seems to like and relax him. :)

I have the equimagnets rug as its a mesh which means you can wear it on hotter days, and you can put the magnets where you want in the pockets on the rug :)
