Magnetic rugs?!

Thanks PS, so there ok to be worn under a stable rug? Have you noticed the difference since using them? I find it take him awhile to warm up and really get going so am I right in thinking it should warm the muscles up before riding so he should be ready to get working sooner?

I use the Premier Equine one and I really think it does make a difference. I'm lucky in that my YO puts it on when she comes in from the field so she wears it for about 1-2 hours before I ride. I haven't left this one on overnight but did with one that I borrowed and it was fine - they tend to be a bit on the long side so I'd just be a bit careful that it didn't get ripped when lying down/getting up. I have travelled her in it to competitions too but she gets quite hot travelling and so can only do this if it's fairly cold otherwise she sweats up (all rugs not just the magnet rug).

I've also used an Aerborn rug but the magnets weren't bipolar so they stuck together which made it a real pain to put on. I call the PE Bipolar rug my "personality disorder rug"..... rather tasteless I'm afraid :(

yes massive difference, in that CS has a sticky stifle (ligament not joint related) and prior to magentic rug it would stick at least once a week, now it stick maybe 3 times a year.
He wears it 3.30-5pm (before i ride) and then 6.30pm-6.30am as i think it help muscle recovery too and prevent stiffness.

Mine are just cotton sheets so dont slip/pull/ride up the neck etc. Not sure id risk them for under turnout rugs, but they do seem very tough, CS decimates all other cotton summer sheets but this one is on its second year with not so much as a pulled thread, usually cotton sheets (even the expensive rambo ones) last about 2 weeks!

Decided to buy one looking at the Armadillo site they say they only use UNIpolar magnets! BIpolar magnets expose the body to both poles at one time with possible adverse side-effects.
Premier Equine use BIpolar ......... Opinions? Really confused now!

Never tied any of mine up when wearing it , they have it on in the stable for a few hours each when theyre in, although the older girly wears it more often
