For those who think magnotherapy has any effect

, can you please put me straight on the following:

I understand that magnotherapy should not be used on cancer sufferers. In which case, does this include melonomas and sarcoids?

Thanks

No idea but logic would suggest the same ie not using on melanomas or sarcoids since both these conditions ARE cancers. Magnotherapy uses (duh) magnets that can draw blood to the area they are applied since red blood is rich in iron and iron is attracted to a magnetic force. It would be logical I guess to expect an increased blood flow to aid cell division and thus healing in ordinary cuts etc. But the last thing you want to do with cancers (which are uncontrolled cell growth) is promote further cancer cell growth.

Barge pole I think.

That was what i suspected.

My Connie does not have any visible melanomas in the area covered by the magnetherapy rug, but I'll just stick with a massage pad for him.

Thanks
