Hi, does anyone know if there are any TROT routes that run very close to Lower Road East/West Farleigh? I can understand that TROT don't want to give out maps of the routes to non members, but I don't want to pay £74 for the 6 mth membership only to find there is nothing suitable for me to link up to, without having to hack up some of the rather narrow fast country lanes.

Grateful for any help.

There is one next to me in Linton if that is any use? Don't know the route though, as I have only just sent off the application for membership. I could let you know when I get the route map through if you want?

thats the reason i didnt join it last year when i was looking for routes on the bredgar side of maidstone.its silly as you dont want to pay all that money out to find out you've only got 1 short route in your area.even the area rep wasnt very helpful.

We have some woods to the back of us that are good hacks it runs between the back of ditton and the top of barming . Canter paths, fallen logs for jumping and not too many boggy bits all toll free as such just need to find a place to park up

I know the woods you mean, we walk the dog there sometimes. Would be great for riding for sure.

Trouble is crossing the A26 from the yard.

If you come up over the railway crossing and take the first right it isn't too bad - we normally got his way for the northwealds bridleway show - early morning is normally the best . If not there are loads of layby etc esp at the east malling end for trailers etc
