main plaiting

Any tips on getting plaits just right?

I mean the plaits that look like little ball things

Ive never done it before and im hoping to do it for this weekends show!

help please

any tips on getting it really neat too?
can you use hairspray?
or gel? thanks!

use loads of hairspray and gel!! and dont wash your horses mane the day before you go as you need the grease to help keep tight

My mares mane always sticks on end for weeks after!

When I plait I damp the mane down, and then plait. It is also practice, practice and more practice. I used gel once but don't like it.

Ha Ive plaited a million times and still mine look shite!

start with a well pulled mane. the better its pulled the easier it is to plait.
Quicbraid make the hair nice and tacky so you can grip it well.
sew them in dont band it.
