Humour me.

I just had news that my loveliest Auntie Miar has passed away.

At the same time OH has just found a black and white kitten. I was just looking at it in the cage when my dad called.

I have put it in Face book and will get it scanned tomorrow but if I keep it feel calling it after my Auntie might be nice. She was older but on FB and always commented on it liked my pet or horse photos. I think shed like it
RIP beautiful lady :(

Meaning:Star of the sea; Greater; Wished-for child
Mair is a girl's given name that shares Latin, Hebrew, and Welsh roots, with many rich and meaningful interpretations. Mair means "star of the sea" and is considered a Welsh diminutive of the Hebrew name, Mary.

Gender: Mary is traditionally a feminine name. Marion, Marius, or Mario may be used as masculine equivalents.

Thank you
We’ve had a trip to the vets this morning and it’s a little girl, about 4.5 months and not microchipped.
I’ve put it on a few local FB pages, rang local vets and a local cat rescue.
Not a lot more I can do and I feel like anyone missing a cat would come across one of the above.
She isn’t feral and has been handled I’d say at some point but maybe not in a while, she’s very frightened and nervous.
I’ve got her in a dog crate which I’ve barricaded in so the dogs can’t hassle her but she can be in the room with us and get to know the noises and smells etc.
