Major Oak travel buddy.

I'm waiting for my EGB forum access to be approved, so in the meantime thought I'd ask here too... !

My mare and I are travelling from Radcliffe-on-Trent to Sherwood Pines (Nottinghamshire) for the Major Oak endurance ride on the 17th of this month. We don't have our own transport at the moment, so are on the lookout for someone to share travel with on this date. Alternatively, being relatively new to the area, we'd also welcome any pointers regarding hire-and-drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry can't help directly as I'm further north than you. But our riding club are fielding a team for the Novice 32 km so may see you there! What class/distance are you doing?

That's great! Which riding club are you with? We're only doing the 16km; it's the first time we're boxing her to an event, so just an easy one to see how things go. Hopefully the 32km next time around though!
