makeing her neck bald underneath?

my horse lunges at the horse next to her and with doing this shes basically taken all her hair off under her neck has anyone got anything i could try as i don't want her to make herself sore ??

what type of padding do u think she had a piece of carpet over but she decided it was scary lol
