A woman was supposed to be coming to see one of my liveries today for a possible loan so there I was at 10 am waiting for her to turn up. 10.30 came and went so I thought I would phone and see if lost, stuck in traffic etc but surprise, surprise I got no answer!! I have now tried to phone 3 or 4 more times today and have got the answerphone every time.
If she changed her mind or found another horse or whatever why didn't she call and cancel??? So, So rude, where are the manners?? It wouldn't take long to let me know she wasn't going to turn up!

thats people for you! so rude, a simple call or even txt tp say she couldnt make it would have been acceptable (that is if she is ok and not in hospital somewhere?)

I don't understand people. I had a family come to look at my lorry for sale. Stayed ages, they were lovely, checked the lorry out and said it was just what they were looking for. Left promising to be in touch as they wanted their mechanic to check it over for them.

Did they phone? No. A simple "not for us, but thankyou" would have been nice after I basically wasted the afternoon talking to them all.

Oh well. I get to keep my fab lorry, and they won't find much else as good for the price. :)

Yup know what you mean OP, this has happend to me too and its so blimmin annoying, esp when all people have to do is text or phone.

The other thing that people do is waste your time coming out to "view", either horse, or livery facilities, and bring a friend, dog(s), OH, badly behaved kids and every other tom dick & harry, and allow them to run riot. I once had a girl plus FIVE others and god-knows-how-many kids out, to view the livery facilities - and they thought it was perfectly OK for dogs & kids to run riot everywhere on my place!! AND they seemed surprised when I said excuse me but this is a farm with sheep on the place and its NOT OK to have dogs in particular running around!! grrrrhhh. Some people.

The other thing you get is people who'll come and see something once, i.e. horse/livery facilis etc., and then they'll want to come again (and again) "just to make sure", when in actuality they've no intention of either buying or hiring.

Who was it said .... "if you're not gonna p!ss, then get off the pot"?????
