managed a last minute decision with a friend to head off to wellington for showjumping today
forgot how much i hated the random waiting around of showjumping!
Lola is NOT a morning pony, at all, she takes a VERY long time to warm up in the am - so despite me giving us as much time and askinng to go later on in the class, hardly anyone turned up to warm up for the class, so we had to go in earlier than i had liked -- she jumped really well, considering, and was a huge amount better in the ring the warm up, which is okay - though i just couldnt get her where i wanted :/ pleased with just the one down in the 70 jump off and a competitive time
awkward waiting time between classes, not sure to keep her walking/warm or get off and give her a break -- decided to stay on but reallhy should have got off, thought the wait would be much shorter -- she felt MUCH better in her body, but her tiredness showed in her second class -- her first 80 - and the biggest class she has done, and the biggest i have done in a long time!
shame we had 3 poles, mostly because of me and a bit of her tiredness, but so pleased with how willing she was and not a hint of a spook at the fillers or struggling with the height
super pleased with her - maybe we will manage a m+m workers class at the newforest show in the end after all!!
also, a quick photo of her popping 1m05 ast home the other day!! what a cool pony
link to her page on facebook - with her 80cm round today and her jumping 1m05 the other day
