After wanting a new browband and seeing how much they were i had a bright idea to buy the stuff and make my own.....

Now im realising that i dont have the faintest idea on how to make the diamond pattern. If anyone knows how to make them please could you give me an idiots set of instructions? I have tried google and all i can find is the shark tooth pattern.
Nah, i think you made some a while ago???
Thanks :D

I'm still baffled about the diamond pattern, but I've mastered the chequered and sharks tooth patterns :)

Will follow this, as I'd like to try the diamond one too!

Look at head bands! I made my own diamond shaped ones and the diamond patterned headbands are the same :)

You can get them cheaply on ebay for 2 or 3£ you can get webbing ones for even less, just search for browband and put lowest first :)

Also what width ribbons do you need? :o Quite fancy having a go at this as it seems like a cheap way to make something pretty for my boy - not that he'll be overly impressed ha ha! :D

I use 7mm ideally

Thank you :D

I'm excited now, I remembered that when I bought my bridle the cob size browband was too small for Loki's fat head ;) so I had to but a full and put the cob size one away as a spare (in case his head shrunk? I'm a bit of a hoarder :o) anyway it'll fit my mum's mare so I've just bought some pink and blue ribbon and shall be hot glue gunning before the week is out ;)
