Does anyone make dog beds, the 'tunnel' type like a tube which stays open for dogs to crawl inside? I want to make one for my Chihuahua but am not sure what to use to stiffen the opening so it doesn't collapse. Not sure what type of wadding to use to stuff it with either so any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks :D

Why not get some sheets of foam? If you cover it on one side with a sort of fleece or fur type fabric and on the other with a curtain fabric which matches your decor, you can roll the whole thing up into a tube (size to suit your tiny pooch) with the fur side inside, and stitch it all together so the foam keeps its shape? You can get foam about an inch thick from Dunelm and similar places which might do the trick. (Never done this, BTW, but thought it might work...)

Thanks Greylegs. I have been asked to make one for someone else so I need to make it really dog safe and her dog would probably eat the foam! I will keep Googling until I find something or I might have to buy one that someone else has made and deconstruct it. Bit of an expensive option that last one though :(
