I first saw these boots at Olympia, Malin Bayard was competing in them, recently I saw Sophie Heaven wearing them and I have to say I would LOVE to try them! The idea of not having to break in new boots and riding in the 'sports trainer' for the equestrian athlete really appeals to me! At first they do look too modern and a little brash, but on closer inspection I reckon they could catch on. Why shouldn't we enjoy the sophisticated materials & technology of the modern sports world... after all riding is a professional sport! What does everyone else think?

if you mean the nike ones, dislike them. Leather boots look so much smarter

ETA: saw link, fine for everyday riding but in my opinion arn't competiion boots

Hate them for competition & think they look very tacky.
For competitions I'm a firm believer in smart & sharp appearance, these look rather sloppy in my opinion.

Fine in black for ordinary hacking/schooling etc etc.

Just don't think they look smart enough for comp wear tbh

They do look better in black... that's the colour Sophie Heaven was jumping in and they looked pretty cool!

I think it's good that companies like Puma & Nike are beginning to take an interest in equestrianism!
