Mallenders and laying down

Has anyone experienced skin breaking and opening behind knees over night when horse lays down?

Skin clears up and heals perfect (no scabs or redness) with Flamazine then after laying down in stable is like open wounds again the next morning

Pony has had full mite treatment

Is currently on bedmax shavings also

The flamizine could be drying the skin out. If there is no active infection try diprobase or cetraben emollient to get some moisture back into it.

It could be that the horse chews the leg because it itches.
