Well Tassy and Nanook are now firm friends - which is great and seeing as I'm on half term we thought they might enjoy a good run around today...

I know they aren't the best quality, but I hope it has captured the sense of fun and frolics!
 
Really lovely pics. (Although I'm not so sure that the farmer would thank you for allowing them run all over their freshly planted field :o)

Ha ha I thought someone would mention this- farmer is a friend of ours (YO) He said this is the only time that the plant is 'floppy' enough to be treated like this - once older it snaps and that damages the sead head growth.

We stick to field edges as we are heavier footed so as not to compact the earth.
