On Monday, Malpas was the only village to have a parade dedicated to horses and ponies for the Jubilee. I and OH were lucky enough to be asked to help and it was a real privilage to be part of it. We all got quite emotional when the cavalcade was seen coming up the street. Malpas is only a small place but the crowds were out in force which made it very special for everyone who took part.
A few pics to give you a taster of what it was like.

The parade was led by a neighbour's car with my OH, son and his partner walking alongside ready to help anyone who got into trouble; luckily, they weren't needed.
Head of the parade was the Rector of Malpas who has only recently learnt to ride; he loved it!

Have you sent a link to the photo album to St James' Palace? I'm sure HMTQ would be delighted to know that there was a dedicated equine Jubilee parade.

The organizer is about to do that; would be great if HRH actually got to see them! Pic's have also been dispatched to H & H plus some of the other monthly magazines so we're keeping our fingers crossed that something will come of it because it was the only one in the country.
The feedback has been amazing, now everyone wants to know what's planned next! :)
