Maesfen
Extremely Old Nag!
On Monday, Malpas was the only village to have a parade dedicated to horses and ponies for the Jubilee. I and OH were lucky enough to be asked to help and it was a real privilage to be part of it. We all got quite emotional when the cavalcade was seen coming up the street. Malpas is only a small place but the crowds were out in force which made it very special for everyone who took part.
A few pics to give you a taster of what it was like.
The parade was led by a neighbour's car with my OH, son and his partner walking alongside ready to help anyone who got into trouble; luckily, they weren't needed.
Head of the parade was the Rector of Malpas who has only recently learnt to ride; he loved it!
