Just a quick question regarding this place. They have a small show on next week and I was just looking for somewhere low key to take younger son and pony or ponies to do a few little classes. I searched on here for Malthouse to get an idea of what it's like and some of the comments were less than complimentary. That aside, all I am looking for is something fun and friendly with reasonable facilities. Will it give me that? Thank you? :)

If its a show being run by a riding club and its not far from you then perhaps worth a visit.
Otherwise i wouldn't bother

i took my youngster here and all though it is not the nicest or friendliest of places it was great for him as there were not many people and its not a huge set up that would scare him. i would definatly go to the show if your just starting to get your horse out as it is good to start somewhere small but be prepared as the arenas are not the best

Perfect - thanks all. It's only 20 miles from us (easy journey up the A34) and they have a few classes for son to do on his pony. I took his brother all over the place and was feeling guilty that I haven't done the same for him. It doesn't need to be fancy, just not completely awful. :)
