I did not think they sold the fillys they usually keep the good ones unless they were overstocked.
Do you think this proves that breeding is a waste of time/money as Preci uses the best? No wonder the UK is full of part time fun breeders because it is just not cost effective to do it properly to make money.
OMG !! Wish I'd known, I would've loved to have had a look at the Preci horses.
But then again, they cant have been all that good if they were flung into a sale so cheap?
Preci dont sell there every year and I guess only do so when they need a clear out. Sold several a couple of years ago and one only made about £900! It had even done a couple of intro events. They didnt have any there last year. Interestingly the ones a couple of years ago were in Horsedeals for prices between £5k - £7.5k+ yet they obviously didnt sell privately and went through the ring at Malvern with no reserves!
Just because they have a clear out does not necessarily mean the horses are no good, possible that they are just not going to make the Advanced/International grade.
That's really interesting that the Preci ones didn't go for much. Out of interest (if you've got a programme Severnmiles?) were they all by Mill Law? I know they had one (or maybe two) by More Pokey but I'm not sure if they were lads or girlies.
