just sat and read the whole lot of this (admittedly whilst drinking beer!).
My take on this is that it seems unfair to condem a breed due to size etc.
I have never owned dogs until now and I currently have a rhodesian ridgeback x kelpie and another ridgeback x rottie. The rottie x is the softest dopiest thing I have ever come across! I am sensible with them and they are well trained but I don't doubt that if she decided to bite it would bloody hurt!
Over here a lot of people own rotties and they are very soft dogs. The worst dog is the cattle dog and most people will have a tale to tell about how dangerous and nasty they are.
Each to their own I say
