Managed a lovely hack today

[Gorgeous George]

Despite this weekends rather yukky weather I managed a nice hack today, George and I hacked 20mins to meet a friend and went for a lovely hack round the lanes and fields.

It was a nice chance to chat and the horses were happy as they used to be stabled together

and recognised each other, also I was happy as neither of us wanted to hare around

We said our goodbyes and George and I made our way back to our yard when I realised that we'd been out for 2 1/2 hours! You may laugh but that is my longest hack and I now feel absolutely shattered

Mind you very happy as George was such a good boy and has obviously forgiven me for shouting at him yesterday

We just got back as the feeds were being mixed so he was very happy, poor soul is probably worn out too!

Aww sounds lovely, I love hearing what you and George are up to - you and George are my inspirations on this board cos I remember reading your nohorse posts before you got him. It'll be a fair few years until I can get my own the way things stand at the moment but you and George show it's possible and worth the wait!!
