What does everybody use to detangle manes and tail? I prefer ones without silicone in but they don't seem that easy to find
Thanks

Not sure if it has Silicone or not, can't find the ingredients online, but I love Leovet Power Detangler (I use the Chamomile one for pale horses). My filly has inherited her mothers bushy, tangle prone haflinger mane and tail, but the power detangler makes it a breeze to comb out, it lasts for a fair while in her hair and it even has light insect repellent properties. Plus is smells awesome!

Believe it or not, the best I have ever found is cheap and cheerful udder cream! I used to wipe the excess from my hands after slathering on my mare's legs in the winter, and so discovered this purely by accident. No slippery silicone to get on your tack and it smells pleasant too. Oh yes, and it cleans and conditions your hands. What's not to like?
