mane help

how do those who keep their horses manes SJ short manage it? i can never get it just right.

When being turned out, I would try and plait my loan pony's mane so it didn't get all sorts of **** in it. Also train it with water and then do a very diddy running plait down it and leave that in for around an hour every so often to help keep it on one side. They're a nightmare!! xx

Baby oil in a very short pulled mane. And occasional spats with a twitch to thin it out as mine is ISH and has the mane to match.

I know of more than one person that straightens their horses main with human hair straighteners for 'special occasions'
