Ok, so rather belatedly in the year I'm going to de fluff the hairy beast tomorrow, he had a blanket clip last year, which worked about ok for his level of work/hotness, (could probably do with a tad more off) so will do similar hopefully with half-head (depending on wigglyness!)

My question is what about the mane?? He's a short-backed 16hh piebald cob, but not enough mane/tail/feather to be a traditional. (Questionable heritage bless him!)

I generally solorake and bang his tail which looks fairly neat, but I can't solocomb/pull his mane can I? I think he'll look odd? I dont want to hog him as intermittently need to hang on! So just a neaten up with the comb? Forgive the really dumb questions, never had a fluffy monster before!

Do it as if your pulling it when you’ve backcomed a bit cut it off with a razor or your solo comb rather than a normal comb. It looks natural then.

If he's not a traditional and you don't want to hog then I'd just pull neatly and make him look smart
