Haha dont worry im not going all serious on you!
I was tidying up and i found a book on myths and legends
The bit that made me giggle was ..
" ..Pixies love to dance under the moonlight.
At time they also take horses from stalls and ride them all night, returning them exausted and with mysterious plaits or knots in their manes .. "
So its the pixies doing it!
