Mane plaiting

Mare has a bald patch... a rather large one, from around 2/3 of the way down her neck to her withers

How do i plait it? it now isnt just bald, it has tufts of mane... however its fine; what do i do when i want to plait up?
can i see pictures if possible please of what people do?

I don't think there's alot you can do, I'd just tidy it up with scissors and wait for it go grow back. You could try and make some false ones out of a wig and sew them on

Lady at our yard did this one year and but didn't use a wig - just used her old pony's mane to make the plaits to put on the show pony. Luckily the ponies manes were the same colour and as it was taken from the wither end of the mane the old pony didn't look too silly. It worked cos the show pony won her class.
