Mane rubs - best product to encourage hair growth

Mane is looking a little bit thin where pink skin is. Has looked a teeny bit sore/ pink but nothing major.

Best product to encourage hair growth but NOT irritate skin.

Suggestions please ?

We used Megatek on our filly's rubbed tail over the summer and it worked wonders. Expensive but well worth it imo - and it smells amazing!

my pony is as sensitive as a moth but has been absolutely fine with this, (have also used Megatek with no problems) My pony's mane and tail (he has sweetitch) has grown quite a bit since using it but I am not 100% convinced that its not the massaging in of the product increasing blood flow combined with decreasing friction on the hair that is to be credited with the improvement, lots of people use coconut oil with success after all

Currently Megatek ... ing the rub in my lad's mane and it's coming back very well, but have some pig oil, so might try that too ....

I've used Megatek with good results too. I use it in two ways - put it on neat rub it in well and then rinse and mix it 50/50 with water, put it in a spray bottle and use it like a mane and tail spray - just spray it on and brush it through.

I've used pig oil but only to stop mud sticking. It certainly works for that.
