I was wondering if anyone had used Plantur 39 on their horses tails - I read on some site somewhere that someone had used it on their horses tail but can't remember where I read it?
My lovely horse has a very thin tail which I rarely brush as I'm worried about breaking off any strands. But I'd dearly love him to have a thicker tail.
I'm not sure if its safe for horses, I looked at the instructions on a bottle in Morrisons at the weekend and it says it needs washing every day for the shampoo to be effective and needs leaving in for ten minutes so its probably something best left for the warmer summer evenings and days anyway. I'd obviously do a skin patch test first.
Can anyone recommend anything that can be used? I know there are thickening shampoos on the market but do they work?
